I send a lot of mail to kids each week. Some people make cards. Since I am not all that creative in the card making department. I tend to buy my cards. But sometimes I try to think of different ways to make getting mail even more exciting for kids!
For instance, I made an envelope out of the comics section in the newspaper. I've been using this section as wrapping paper for years, but it also looks nice as an envelope! I put extra Scotch tape around the edges and corners to make sure it doesn't rip, and I stick mailing labels onto the makeshift envelope so that the address is clearly visible.
I also heard that you can send water bottles through the mail. I filled a couple with small treasures and rolled-up letters, covered the bottles with stickers, added mailing labels, and used shipping tape to tape it up securely!

I started looking online for some other ideas. Here are a few I found:
Mail something in an empty cereal box, a pencil box, even a lunch box!
Send one of those big, bouncy, colorful balls, and write a message on it in permanent ink!
Print out a Google map and use it as an envelope!
Write a note on a Frisbee and mail it!
One person even mailed a flip-flop!
Do you have any other ideas for cool ways to send snail mail?
