Is anyone confused about all of the sites related to Tori Joy's Smiles? I thought I'd take a minute to explain our little family tree.
Tori Joy's Smiles is the main website about our organization. From here, you can learn more about us, join as a volunteer, request mail for your child, find resources to help you and your child deal with bullying, and more! (http://torijoy.weebly.com)
Then there is this blog, which is actually part of the website.
If you like us, you can also "like" our Facebook page.
We also have a group site, which is at a secured, undisclosed location known only to volunteers. Just think of us as ninjas!
We also, also have a fundraising page to help us pay for a booth at a spring carnival, where we will recruit more volunteers and reach out to more parents and kids.
And then there is the blog of the actual little girl named Tori Joy, whom this organization is named after. Tori is 7 years old and is living with neurofibromatosis (spell check says I spelled that wrong but I am almost sure it is right!) which is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on the nerves. Tori has tumors in her brain and her eyes. Her mom blogs about her at http://www.torigaga.com.
The actual Tori also has a Facebook page (Team Tori) which can be found here.
Also, Tori's mother has just started her own Etsy store, called The Little Joy Shop, where she sells very cute, affordable clothes for kids. It can be found here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/TheLittleJoyShop.
AND The Little Joy Shop has its own Facebook page, at
http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Little-Joy-Shop/418629781547686.
Are you confused yet? If not, please come back tomorrow... we're seriously thinking of joining Twitter!
